Recorder Residency at Sitka Center

 

An important program at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology is artist residencies. Members of the Oregon Coast Recorder Society has raised over $80,000 to establish a recorder residency at Sitka Center, which began in in the spring of 2003. Since then, seven musicians have each spent a few months working on projects at Cascade Head on the Oregon Coast. Vicki Boeckman was the 2010 recorder resident.

If you are interested in applying for the recorder residency, please do so through Sitka Center. The application deadline for spring of 2011 is past, but it's not too early to be thinking about 2012!
