Residency
at Sitka
Center

An important program at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology is artist residencies.  Members of the Oregon Coast Recorder Society have raised over $80,000 to establish a Recorder Residency at Sitka Center, which began in 2003,  The program offers an opportunity each year for a recorder player to spend a few months in the spring working on a project at Cascade Head on the Oregon Coast.

The 2015 Recorder Residency was awared to Rotem Gilbert, and the 2016 to Alison Melville of Toronto, Canada.  The 2017 Resident will be Saskia Coolen from the Netherlands.
If you are interested in applying for the Spring of 2018, please do so through Sitka Center.  The s deadline will be in the Spring of 2017.
